·        Representatives of each member department were accounted for: Bangor, BCRS, Cleveland, Dallas-Selfville, Holly Springs, Locust Fork, Mount High, Murphee Valley, Nectar, Oneonta, Remlap, Royal, Ricetown, Snead, Straight Mountain, Susan Moore, West Blount

·        Member Departments not present: Allgood, Blountsville, Brooksville, Pine Mountain, Summit

·        Associate Members present: EMA, 911, AmeriPro, Coroner, BREMSS, Sheriff

·        Associate Members not present: St. Vincent’s Blount, Forestry, State Fire Marshall, Coroner, District Attorney, Lifesaver, RAMS, Survival Flight, AFC, VOAD

Old Business

·        Countywide Fire District Pine Mountain, Remlap and West Blount are working with the commission to have the law changed and how districts are able to bill.

Committee Reports Chairman

·        Truck Checks and Financial Reports are due in March

·        Amanda Jackson stepped down as secretary due to her new position with Ameripro. Robin Gorum was appointed to fill secretary position until elections.

·        Heath Stockton stepped down as Chief of Dallas-Selfville and will have to step down from Vice-Chair position. Volunteers for Vice Chair are appreciated.

EMA

·        Fuelman is on tract and comparable to previous usages

911

·        Introduction to Benjamin Cain (Benji) new Ops Manager

·        Lengthy discussion on communications between Ameripro and Mr. Cain

911 Board

·        Southern Linc is gathering a price on selective dispatch (night paging) for the SL devices. This cost should and probably will be covered by 911.

AAC/Ameripro

·        AAC and Ameripro combined reports and detailed how things are going since the transition.

·        Additional 12-hour truck coming soon for a total of 4.5

·        Extensive discussion between Ameripro and 911 over who should be responsible for air transport.

 

Special Ops/Training

·        Mid-Winter Fire Chief conference Feb. 9, 10, 11. Free ISO class on the 9th, must register on AFC website

BREMSS

·        See BREMSS update attached

Fire Camp

·        Registration open. New budget will be presented at the next meeting
